VIBRIO is one of the deadliest diseases in shrimp farming since 1994 in India, caused by bacteria genera called vibrio. The most commonly found species of Vibrio are Vibrio alginolyticus and Vibrio harveyi.
VIBSOLUTE is a probiotic bacteria which effectively keeps the population of vibrio under control through competitive exclusion and natural biological processes.
Description
VIBRIO is a genus of gram negative bacteria, possessing a curved-rod shape (comma shape). Typically found in saline water, Vibrio species are facultative and anaerobic. All members of the genus are motile (mobile) and have polar flagella.
Vibrio species possess two chromosomes, which is unusual for bacteria. Each chromosome is distinct and replicate independently, which enables them to reproduce at faster rate, causing a disease called VIBRIOSIS. Vibsolute is a probiotic bacteria which effectively keeps the population of vibrio under control.

- • 500 gm/acre if the vibrio harveyi (green) colonies are more than 50cfu/ml
- • 100 gm/acre once in 15 days
- • 10 gm/kg of feed 2 times a day
- • Or as advised by aquaculture consultant
